Refund Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which TravMories processes booking cancellations and refund requests for all travel-related services. By confirming any booking with us, you agree to the conditions stated below.


1. General Cancellation Policy

All bookings made through TravMories are subject to cancellation terms as outlined during the booking process. We work with third-party vendors (hotels, transport, guides, etc.), and their individual cancellation policies will apply in addition to ours.

2. Cancellation by the Traveler

If you wish to cancel your trip, the following cancellation charges will apply unless stated otherwise in your specific package:

  • More than 30 days before departure: 10% of the total package cost
  • 15 to 30 days before departure: 25% of the total package cost
  • 7 to 14 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total cost (no refund)

Note: Advance booking amounts are usually non-refundable unless explicitly stated in writing. Also these are generally cancellation terms, actually cancellation terms can vary with each trip.

3. Cancellation by TravMories

In rare cases where TravMories cancels a trip due to operational, safety, or unforeseen reasons (weather, low group size, etc.), you will be entitled to one of the following options:

  • Full refund of the amount paid
  • Option to reschedule for another date or apply the amount to another trip

We are not liable for any charges related to travel arrangements not booked through TravMories (e.g., flights, trains, or hotels booked separately by you).

4. Force Majeure

No refunds will be given in case of cancellation due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or government-imposed restrictions. However, we will make reasonable efforts to offer credit notes or rescheduling options where possible.

5. Refund Process

  • All approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment.
  • Transaction or gateway charges (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount.

6. Non-Refundable Components

The following charges are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance unless stated in writing:

  • Advance deposits
  • Permit or visa processing fees
  • Train/flight tickets booked through third-party providers
  • Personal expenses incurred before cancellation

7. Amendment Policy

Requests to reschedule or change your booking will be treated as per availability and vendor policies. A rescheduling fee may apply. Changes made less than 10 days before the trip may be treated as cancellations.
